Transit flights via Tashkent
Transfer time between flights – the layover between flights is a critical element in any long trip. This time can either provide comfort or become a source of unnecessary stress – depending on how efficiently you use it. That’s why it’s important to calculate layover time correctly and understand baggage procedures to make your connection smooth and fast. Below is all the essential information to make the first stages of your journey as convenient as possible. Centrum Air transit flights These flights involve a layover without needing to leave the airport’s transit area. For example, if you fly with our airline from Moscow to Bangkok, your route will include a layover in Tashkent. Moscow → Tashkent → Bangkok Conditions for layover / connecting flights / transit 1) If you have boarding passes for both segments of your journey and your baggage is checked through to the final destination: 2) If you have only one boarding pass and/or your baggage is checked only to the transit point: Note: Baggage handling and Retrieval rules 1) If your baggage is checked to the final destination, it will be automatically transferred to the next segment provided the itinerary remains unchanged. 2) If you are rebooked on a flight operated by another airline, your baggage must be collected at the transit point and rechecked. Note: Entry & Visa requirements 1) If you do not leave the transit zone during your connection, border control and visa issuance are not required. 2) If you intend to exit the transit zone, you must independently verify visa requirements applicable to your citizenship. In case of missed connection 1) If you are still at the departure airport and are aware of a possible missed connection: You must contact an airline representative at the check-in counter or the airline's contact center to resolve the issue of rebooking. 2) If you have already arrived at the transit point and missed your connecting flight: You must contact an airline representative or the airline's contact center for rebooking. Note: Accommodation and meals in case of delay Hotel accommodation is provided in cases of a forced delay exceeding 6 hours, or no suitable connecting flights available within the same calendar day. It is recommended that, before proceeding, you confirm: your route, baggage handling status, and the possibility of obtaining a boarding pass for the next segment. You must proceed through the transit zone without passing through border control and without rechecking.
You must go to the transit check in desk in the arrivals area to obtain a new boarding pass and to recheck your baggage.
If your baggage is checked only to the transit point, you will need to go through border control, collect your baggage at the baggage claim area, check it in again for the next flight and obtain new boarding passes.
Please verify the final destination of your baggage using the baggage tag issued at check in.
Note:
Transit visas must be obtained by the passenger personally.
Maximum connection time: 18 hours
If there are no suitable flights available, rebooking on other airlines may be considered. If the waiting time exceeds 6 hours, hotel accommodation and meals will be provided.
